April A to Z Blogging Challenge Day 6...Today's Blog Brought to You by the Letter "F"

There were a few ideas for the F blog, but I had pretty much settled on writing about "fiction" and how I prefer to write fictitious stories.  But, whether it's allergies or a cold, I don't know, but I feel terrible.  At the risk of sounding like I am making excuses, I had a plan for my day but I can't think straight and I can't get motivated to get anything done.  So, I am taking the easy way out, here.  Sort of.

Today's topic is "Fairy Tales."  My favorite television show right now is Once Upon a Time.  If you've never watched it, I highly recommend it.  Granted, it's obvious that their vision outreached their budget because the graphics are not the best, but the story is captivating.  Who hasn't heard one of the old fairy tales and wondered what happened next or what if this or that happened?  It is amazing watching the creators weave together all the fairy tales you have ever heard of and making connections that you wouldn't have dreamed of.  I contribute to my friend's blog, which is a combination of savings tips and coupons, all things Disney, Christian life, and reviews.  One of my contributions to her blog is that I recently started reviewing the new episodes, after posting a series recap.  It's not technically cheating to link this post to those since I wrote them too.  And I still have to do some work because I DVR'd last night's episode and will have to write that review later.  So, please forgive me for directing you to another blog for tonight's topic and begging off due to illness!

  1. I love that show. I'm really hoping for Hook and Emma. I have a theory about what will happen the rest of the season. Hope you feel better.

    1. Oh, I think Hook is dreamy, but I am not digging the "hook" up with Emma, so I hope not. I have theories. Sometimes I am right, sometimes not, so we'll see what happens this season!

    1. It's amazing. I am not a big TV watcher, but this is so good. I had my doubts about how far it could go, but I've been pleasantly surprised. Hope you get to start watching it!

    1. Thanks. Feeling some better today after a nap. I haven't been much of a TV watcher either. I prefer movies because I hate being tied down to a series. And, truthfully, I could chuck the entire TV and not be too bothered by it. But, I do love this show.

    1. I am feeling better today. Took a nap and then had a long day of donating blood, ladies' Bible study, and drama with my preteen. So, I am wiped, but getting ready to post my "G". I tend to post a lot in the evening or late night. Thanks for coming by!
